Then: Brian Robbins played writer wannabe Eric Mardian on the high school sitcom ‘Head of the Class.’ You could tell he was the school bad boy by his ever-present leather jacket. Before ‘Head of the Class,’ Robbins guest starred on ’80s staples such as ‘Mr. Belvedere,’ ‘Knight Rider,’ ‘Three’s Company’ and ‘Growing Pains.’

Now: Robbins was 27 when ‘Head of the Class’ ended, and having stretched the whole child acting thing to its limit, he started working behind the camera to much eventual success. The 48-year-old directed movies like ‘Varsity Blues’ and ‘Norbit,’ and has produced TV shows such as ‘One Tree Hill’ and ‘Smallville.’ So, yup, Mr. Leather Jacket has gone corporate.
