Whatever Happened to Joher Coleman (aka Jory Husain) From ‘Head of the Class’?

Joher Coleman from 'Head of the Class'

Then: The Wisconsin-born Jory Husain played Indian exchange student Jawaharlal Choudhury on the first three seasons of ‘Head of the Class.’ He started going by the name Joher Coleman in 1990, perhaps as a reaction to Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein becoming a high profile enemy of the United States.

Now: Coleman does voice-over work for commercials and the occasional TV show. He posts poetry and social commentary on his website (cole)Man on Fire, and also describes himself as “a pundit for local news on topics ranging from foreign policy to gubernatorial races.”
