In an effort to compete against Katie Couric's week-long run as a guest co-host on 'Good Morning America,' none other than Sarah Palin joined 'Today' as a co-host during the 8am hour.

The morning show wars are really starting to heat up. On the heels of former 'Today' host Katie Couric returning to AM television as guest co-host of ABC's  'Good Morning America', NBC's 'Today' just announced their own high profile guest co-host.

When Seth Meyers began introducing Sarah Palin as his next guest on 'Saturday Night Live's' Weekend Update, we were all expecting to see Tina Fey's iconic impersonation voice her thoughts on the HBO movie 'Game Change.' But unfortunately, the '30 Rock' star was not available, so naturally the show selected the next best person to fill in for her -- Andy Samberg.

The Oscar nominations announced earlier today had some heads turning at the 'Documentary Feature' category as a couple of high profile blogs thought that 'The Undefeated,' the critically-panned Sarah Palin documentary, picked up a nod. Turns out, it was all a big coincidence.
