The Internet loves cats. This is a fact demonstrated by website after website, Facebook entry after Facebook entry, email forward after email forward. But leave it to a website to sum up why we love cats...and set it to music. Meet the Procatinator, the website that'll eat all your free time.

The site is simplicity itself: a set of 80 looping GIFs of cats set to popular music. You open the site, and it gives you a random cat.

Why does this stroke of genius exist? It's the brainchild of a web developer in Barcelona, Ernesto Gonzalez Aroca. He put it together late last years, because, in his words, "I was bored". He wasn't expecting it to be the ridiculous hit it's become, of course, but he's very gratified. And crazy cat ladies are indebted to him as well.
