It’s Panda vs. Snowman in the Year’s Most Adorable Battle

It's the matchup you never thought you'd see.

Hailing from the bamboo forests of inland China, it's the GIANT PANDA.

In the other corner, out of the frigid arctic north, it's the (NON-)ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN.

.....in a battle to the death.

Well, okay, that might be over-dramatizing things a bit. It's really just a super-cute panda bear -- aren't they all? -- named Da Mao facing off against a snowman some workers at the Toronto Zoo built for him. Da Mao doesn't seem all that interested in making friends, though. It takes him only about a minute to DECAPITATE his rival.

It's a reminder that panda bears, though inarguably adorable, are still bears.
