In the 1995 movie ‘Now and Then,’ four childhood friends reunite as adults and reminisce about a summer they spent together 25 years earlier.

Rosie O’Donnell, Melanie Griffith, Demi Moore and Rita Wilson play the grown up characters in the film, and four child actors were chosen for the movie’s extensive flashback scenes.

Although not nearly as famous as the adults, many of the child stars of ‘Now and Then’ were already pretty recognizable to audiences. See what the young actors of ‘Now and Then' are up to now below.

Then: Ricci played tomboy Roberta Martin, the younger version of Rosie O’Donnell’s character, in ’Now and Then.’ At the time, the then-15 year old was best known for her role as Wednesday Addams in ’The Addams Family’ and ’Addams Family Values.’

Now: After a long run of movies such as ‘The Ice Storm,’ 'Prozac Nation’ and ‘Speed Racer,’ in 2011 Ricci became the lead in the television series ‘Pam Am,’ which was cancelled after half a season. So it’s back to the big screen for the 32-year-old, who will head a star-studded cast in ‘Mother’s Day,’ which is slated for 2013 release.

Then: In ‘Now and Then’ Birch played rich girl Tina Tercell, who grew up to be Melanie Griffith’s character. She had previously played Harrison Ford’s daughter in ‘Patriot Games’ and ‘Clear and Present Danger.'

Now: With prominent roles in films like ‘American Beauty’ and ‘Ghost World,’ Birch seemed headed for stardom. However she has not been able to repeat the success she had in her teens as an adult. Her last movie, the 2012 black comedy 'Petunia,' was her first role in two years and in 2010 she was embarrassingly fired from the play 'Dracula' after her manager/dad had an altercation with one of the other actors.

Then: By the time Gaby Hoffmann played Samatha Albertson, who grew up to be Demi Moore’s character, in ‘Now and Then’ she had a most impressive resume. The then-13-year old made her movie debut as Kevin Costner’s daughter in 'Field of Dreams' and had also starred in 'Uncle Buck,' 'A Man Without A Face' 'Sleepless in Seattle' and 'Freaky Friday.'

Now: While Hoffmann’s post-college acting career initially focused on the theater, she has begun to make her way back into TV and film. The 30-year-old has recently appeared on episodes of ’Homeland’ and ’The Good Wife’ and will star alongside Adrian Grenier and Ben McKenzie in the upcoming comedy ’Goodbye World.’ She also recently appeared as a love interest on the FX series 'Louie.'

Ashleigh Aston Moore, Young Chrissy DeWitt

Then: In ‘Now And Then’ Ashleigh Aston Moore played the naïve Chrissy DeWitt. Before taking on the character who would grow up to be played by Rita Wilson, Moore starred on the Canadian children’s show 'The Odyssey.'

Now: Moore appeared in a few other movies, including a role alongside 'Now And Then' co-star Christina Ricci in 'Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain,' but quit acting in 1997. In 2007, she passed away. While her death at 26 was initially reported as a heroin overdose, it is now listed as coming from “complications from pneumonia and bronchitis.”

Then: In 'Now And Then' Devon Sawa played Scott Wormer, who shared a childhood kiss with Roberta Martin. The year before the native of Canada had been in the Disney football movie 'Little Giants.'

Now: While he may well be best known for playing Stan in the Eminem video of that same name, Sawa has had a long and consistent movie and TV career, including the lead in the original 'Final Destination.' In 2012 he continued his recurring role as Owen Elliot on 'Nikita' and starred in the movie 'The Philly Kid.'

Then: Rumer Willis was six years old when she made her film debut as Samantha Albertson’s little sister in 'Now and Then.' The next year she appeared in 'Striptease,' another movie with her mother Demi Moore.

Now: Thanks to her famous parents and notorious friends, Willis has become something of a gossip page darling. But she does also act, and this year the 24 year old starred in the movie 'The Diary of Preston Plummer' and played against type as a violent drug dealer on an episode of 'Workaholics.'
