Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Get Engaged

According to our pals at PopCrush, 19-year-old Miley Cyrus and 22-year-old 'Hunger Games' star Liam Hemsworth are officially engaged after dating for the past three years. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Cyrus said she's ecstatic over the prospect of marrying the young Australian actor. "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," she said.

The couple reportedly got engaged on May 31st and have been dating since 2009 when they met on the set of 'The Last Song.'

"What happened happened, and we've been together two and a half years," Hemsworth said about falling in love during filming. "She makes me really happy. When you start, you want to be professional, but when you're filming those scenes with someone and pretending to love them, you're not human if you don't feel something."

Cyrus is currently in the studio working on a followup to 2010's 'Can't Be Tamed.' Hemsworth is slated to begin production on the next 'Hunger Games' installment once he finishes filming indie heist flick 'Empire State' and thriller 'Paranoia' with Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman.
