Meet Jonah, the Amazing Beatboxing Baby
While the musical genre of 'beatboxing' comes from the early days of hip hop, humans have been producing percussion-like sounds with their mouths ever since ancient man learned to put his lips together and blow out air. Particularly babies. They beatbox alllll the time.
Documentary filmmaker Sean Phillips noticed that his son Jonah was dropping the beginnings of beats in his baby talk. So he started to record the infant's babble, and used his editing skills to put together an adorable little video.
Pretty nifty, huh? Not only is Jonah well on his way to being the next Biz Markie, but he can play the drums too. Actually you don't hear so much about beatboxing these days. Maybe Jonah is just the fresh new talent to bring it back.
