Ohhhh, so *this* is why Henry Thomas was cast as Elliott in 'E.T.' This tape of his audition shows little Henry crying so hard, it really could make you cry as much as the actual movie.

It's not just us he's impressing -- when he finishes his audition you can here Steven Spielberg say, "You got the job, kid." That really is something that basically never happens. But how often are auditions this good?
