Mummy Cookie Pops
These cookie pops have a face only a "mummy" could love. But they sure taste good. All it takes is some store-bought candy eyeballs and fondant to make your taste buds rise from the grave.
'Wizard of Oz' fans will enjoy these cookies that are both tasty and a little disturbing. (Try not to think about the crushed Wicked Witch attached to those by ruby slippers and striped socks.) They take a little elbow grease to make, so get some help from a trusty scarecrow (or your kids).
Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops
Marshmallows, with their cylindrical shape and flat tops, make perfect Frankensteins. To creatively display these at your Halloween party, prop them in a shallow bucket filled with bolts. Rise, my delicious creation! Rise!
Sparkly Spider Cookies
These colorful spider cookies are the perfect starter cookie for rookie Halloween decorators. If you mess up, you can always cover the imperfections with more sprinkles. Spooky and idiot-proof!
This twist on the traditional fortune cookie recipe adds black frosting for some Halloween edge. While the cookies are still warm, fold them and insert slips of paper with silly "mis-fortunes" written on them like "You will meet a boo-tiful stranger" or "You will get candy corn stuck in your teeth...forever."
