What do you get when you mix Master P, The 'Nature Boy' Rick Flair, Onyx, Raekwon, The Fat Boys, Jamie Kennedy, Bobcat Goldthwait and a couple guys in clown costumes with a limited understanding of the science behind magnets?

Why the 13th annual 'Gathering of the Juggalos,' of course. The festival will take place between August 8th and 12th in Cave-in-Rock, IL and will be headlined, as it always is, by the event's organizers, the Insane Clown Posse.

According to Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, who make up the makeup wearing rap duo, the Gathering is like "Shangri-la on Earth!" Don't believe them? This NSFW promotional video for the 2012 lineup might convince you. This year's clip is even more over-the-top than the 'SNL' parody.

In addition to the music, the Gathering features carnival rides, karaoke, open mic comedy and mud wrestling. This year there will also finally be the ICP Michael Jackson tribute that the world has been waiting for ever since the King of Pop died three years ago.

While the over-the-top but surprisingly earnest absurdity of the Insane Clown Posse has long been easy for us squares to mock, the Gathering has become quite a successful event over the years. The Faygo-fest drew only about 7,000 fans in the beginning, but now 20,000 Juggalos are expected to plop down $175 to enjoy some shady fun in the sun. Will you be among them?
