Digg Co-Founder Kevin Rose Fought Off a Raccoon That Attacked His Dog
Digg co-founder Kevin Rose went to some strange lengths to save his dog this weekend.
Surveillance cameras captured Rose jumping to the aid of his pooch, Toaster, when the animal got into a tussle with a raccoon at the bottom of a stairwell.
Rose zoomed down the stairs, grabbed the raccoon and tossed him aside like yesterday's lunch.
Rose posted the incident on YouTube, but prefaced the violent episode by saying, "I do not encourage animal violence. I wanted to get the wild animal as far away from us as possible."
Toaster suffered minor scratches, but is otherwise okay. As for the raccoon, well, don't be surprised if it gets a couple of its friends to seek revenge on Rose's garbage cans.
