Why Hasn’t Demi Moore Changed Her Twitter Name Yet?

In the grand scheme of things, getting a new Twitter handle probably isn't high on the list of things you have to do right away.

But that hasn't stopped followers of Demi Moore and media pundits (including us back in November) from wondering why Moore hasn't changed her @mrskutcher name since filing divorce papers against hubby and 'Two and a Half Men' star Ashton Kutcher.

"Changing my Twitter name isn't a top priority right now," Moore tweeted. "Sorry it bothers so many of u. Should I not tweet until I do? Does it really matter?"

Of course, there could be other reasons for Moore not changing her Twitter handle. After all, it would only take a few minutes to do, and she is going through a divorce with Kutcher.

It's interesting that she even addresses the question. Years ago celebrities had a wall between themselves and fans, but now with Twitter and Facebook celebrities can interact with the public directly and often feel they have to make a statement themselves and not just go through a publicist.

Kutcher doesn't have to change his Twitter name because it's @aplusk. Good thing he didn't use "MrMoore."

For the record, both Moore and Kutcher still follow each other on Twitter.
