First Apple, Now IKEA – Another Completely Fake Store Spotted in China [VIDEO]
A couple weeks ago, we showed you the fake Apple store uncovered by a blogger in Kunming, China. But it seems Apple isn't the only one with an intellectual property headache on its hands. In the exact same Chinese city, a pseudo IKEA has been spotted.
It calls itself "11 Furniture," but all the telltale marks of the popular Swedish home furniture and housewares store are in place -- including the blue and yellow palette, giant shopping bags, room vignettes, tiny little golf pencils and abundance of allen wrenches.
In fact, aside from the name, the only real difference seems to be the restaurant. Rather than serving IKEA's famous Swedish meatballs, 11 Furniture serves Chinese-style braised minced pork and eggs.
Take a look -- wouldn't you be fooled?
