Five Corporate Twitter Accounts You Need to Follow Right Now
When you get tired of all your "comedian" friends working on bits, maybe take the time to follow these massive corporations on Twitter. Why? Because they're funny and sometimes they give you free tacos. That's probably more than you can say about your friends. Here are five to follow.
Wheat Thins is that rare corporate Twitter account that is actually entertaining. Why? They acknowledge that they are selling a tiny snack cracker, not trying to save the world. Plus a few years ago they pranked Twitter users who unwittingly complained that they were out of Wheat Thins by delivering entire pallets to their yards. Check out some sample tweets below.
Domino's isn't particularly funny, but they do seem to care about their customer service, and you may as well admit that if you order Domino's something is going to go wrong. Plus they seem really nice, and highly encourage you to treat yo' self to Cheesy Stix or whatever their latest creation/excuse to recycle dough is.
McDonald's will just give you a Shamrock Shake, and they have a greater emotional investment in their followers than we get from our extended family.
Taco Bell does brilliant stuff. They tweeted directions for people in LA to get to try a Cool Ranch Doritos Taco Loco before they were unleashed on the world:
Here's what was there:

Charmin talks about poop. A LOT. If you're not comfortable with that, do not follow them. If you are even mildly amused by that, follow them immediately, because they are all about it. God help us all if the hashtag #tweetfromtheseat ever actually takes off with anyone other than Charmin.
