Rude Elephant Seal Lets Loose With 8-Second Mega Belch

Slothfulness seems to be running rampant in the animal kingdom. First we noted this lazy polar bear scratching himself while laying half-asleep on a bed of kelp. And now an uncouth elephant seal lets loose with a prolonged mega belch that's guaranteed to rattle your computer speakers.

If burps are an art (and we think they are), then this seal is a master. With barely any visible effort, she lets a belch rip with almost eight seconds of impressive sustain. Nice! Even an entire two liter of fizzy Coke couldn't make us do that.

Of course, the seal isn't really burping. Instead, she's probably just vocalizing as a way to establish identity or dominance. Still, we can dream, can't we?
