Avril Lavigne Shrieks When Overzealous Fan Rushes the Stage at Brazil Concert [VIDEO]

Avril Lavigne got a scare during a recent show in Brazil when a fan rushed the stage and ran towards her.

Lavigne had just started performing a cover of Coldplay's song 'Fix You,' perched atop a piano, when the fan ran onstage and dashed towards her. She shrieked and security intercepted the intruder and hustled him offstage. Lavigne immediately composed herself and told the crowd, "Just getting in the moment there. Alright, let’s try that again.” She then resumed the song.

Lavigne is scheduled to perform this Sunday at the Teen Choice Awards, where she presumably won't have any uninvited guests joining her onstage.
