‘Prince’ – Worst Music Comic Books
In 1991, DC Comics briefly launched an indie comics imprint called Piranha Music, mainly so they could publish Prince Comics (okay, maybe not totally true, but we like to think that was the raison d’etre).
We don’t want to speak to ill of the 'Prince' comics, since the late, great writer Dwayne McDuffie wrote ‘em, but...well, they’re crazy. Prince refers to himself as Batman throughout and fights bad guys while his backing band stands around waiting to do whatever the Purple One tells them. Come to think of it, wouldn't Prince be better suited to play Joker?
