No. 31: Rhymester – 50 Worst Album Covers

Manifesto Rhymester
Ki/oon Records

Rhymester is one of the oldest Japanese hip hop acts, having formed in 1989. They released ‘Manifesto’ on February 3rd, 2010.

We’ve seen some pretty bizarre stuff come out of the Land of the Rising Sun and this is fairly reserved in comparison. Having the three members pose as centaurs holding what look like fencing swords wouldn’t have been a bad choice had they really “WTF’d” it up with tons of other crazy nonsense.

But this makes it look like they’re sort of serious. And if ‘Step Brothers’ and A-Rod have you taught us anything, it’s that centaurs are lolz. Kudos to Rhymester for being ahead of the curve.
