The Animal Planet's 'Puppy Bowl' has announced their lineup for 2013. This hit Superbowl spoof features adorable puppies that hail from rescue organizations both in the US and Puerto Rico and will air on February 3rd at 3PM. The show will also feature the fan favorite Kitty Halftime Show to satisfy the cat lovers who just adore watching cuddly kittens play and the fuzzy baby chicken cheerleaders that will send animal lovers everywhere into squealing fits over their cuteness.

The producers have also added a new feature to the show called "The Puppy Cam," where viewers can see through the eyes of the dogs and experience what they experience. Check out five of the 'Puppy Bowl' contenders plus their pros and cons below to get a sneak peek of some of the adorable canines that will be featured on next weekend's show.

This utterly precious Australian Shepherd/Catahoula mix is currently up for adoption at the Bonnie & Blue Rescue. While she loves to snuggle and play, this nine-week-old puppy may not win the 'Puppy Bowl' because let's face it: a lot of the shepherd mixes are hyperactive doofuses and she may be too distracted to focus on the game at hand.

2. Arlo

Arlo's a good ol' Southern boy--this pup hails from South Carolina and is waiting for his forever home at Lil' Monsters Animal Rescue. Check out the steely glint in this 10-week-old Labrador Retriever/Collie mix's eyes. He's got the determination to win and since both Labs and Collies are decent-sized pooches, Arlo also has a weight advantage too. Go get 'em tiger!

3. Aurora

This baby wolf-lookalike dog is too precious for words and is good-natured to boot: she loves to play with her friends at the Wayside Waifs Rescue. However, Aurora's a Siberian Husky/Retriever mix so she's got the endurance of long-ago lupine ancestors on her side. Since huskies were originally bred to be sled dogs, Aurora can outlast all of her opponents and run 'em ragged with her high activity level. We're rooting for this fuzzy pup!

4. Cash

One look at this 15-week-old pit bull's face and the hearts of the viewers will be melting within five minutes! On his off days, Cash loves getting belly rubs at the Green Street Animal Rescue but he's got an impatient look to his eye. We just know he's going to plow over all his opponents in the typically bully-breed exuberance, but will it help him to win? He's got stiff competition from Aurora and Arlo, so guess we'll just have to tune in to see!

5. Daisy

Yorkshire Terriers are known for being tough little pups, and Daisy is no exception to the rule. She's been practicing for the 'Puppy Bowl' by wrestling with her two brothers at the Shih Tzu and Furbaby Rescue Group, but will that be enough? Daisy may have the spirit of a big dog, but her small size may be her undoing. Still, this 12-week-old pooch will make a great pet, even if she doesn't win next Sunday. We hope she finds a good home ASAP!

Don't forget to tune into the Puppy Bowl, Sunday, Feb. 3rd, at 3pm on Animal Planet.
