While Americans might not immediately recognize the name Mo Farah, he was kind of a big deal during the 2012 London Olympics. That's because the Somali-born distance runner won two gold medals for his adopted country of England, taking first place in the 5,000m and 10,000m races.

After winning the events, Farah celebrated with a look of wide-eyed, arms-spread wonderment. Graphic design student Luke Harvey noticed that this expression was similar to one a person would make if they were fleeing from something terrible. Thus was born the Tumblr blog, Mo Farah Running Away From Things.

It's the second great picture meme spawned from the summer games. And, no, McKayla Maroney is not impressed with Mo Farah Running Away From Things.

We are, though. If nothing else, it takes a lot of stamina to do all the running you will see in the pictures below.
