Generally, we let our cellphone go to voicemail when we're busy. Not so French daredevil Trancede Melet, who actually took a call while walking a 20 meter gap suspended 1,000 feet in the air. At least he wasn't texting. That would've been crazy dangerous.

Melet's phone rang while he was highlining between two cliffs in the Dalles Grises region of the Verdon Gorges in France. So, he stopped, sat down and proceeded to chat for a full 20 minutes, with nothing more than a harness and rope to protect him from a fall.

Alexandre Buisse, who was photographing the stunt, was stunned. "I have climbed all over the world, but when I tried highlining I nearly soiled myself," he said. "To answer the phone when you're up there shows incredible guts."

There's no official word on why the call was so important to Melet, but hopefully it wasn't one of those annoying automated robocalls. Those always seem to come at the worst time.
