Watch a BMW Shatter a Glass Apple In This Viral Tribute

Everybody's seen that high-speed footage of a bullet shooting an apple. BMW decided to pay tribute to it, with one of their cars as the bullet.

As crazy as it sounds, the video isn't done yet. The high speed Beamer also pops three gigantic water balloons and shatters a wood target. It's all to celebrate the M5, the car you see in the video, being declared the fastest sedan.

BMW is calling it High Performance Art. And nothing you see in the video is faked or CGI; all of it was trucked out to the desert and actually shot with high-speed cameras, not unlike the ones you see on Mythbusters.

Here's our only question... do we get to see this with an actual apple next time?
