‘The Perfect Pitch’ – Cheesy Romance Novel Covers

We’re not sure which is more offensive: the cheesy word-play in the title of this book or the terrible cover that combines baseball and sex.

Worse still is the badly superimposed shot of the semi-naked couple onto a sky-blue (?) background, both displaying corny grins. Top it all off with a baseball bat and glove and the storyline is pretty much self-explanatory. With a tale that contains sports, workplace romance and some very heavy petting, this cover gives us a cheesy glimpse into the action to come.
