Right now, we find ourselves asking why this hasn't already been done. Isn't this the internet? Shouldn't somebody have already drawn all the first generation Pokemon with Nicolas Cage's face by now? Well at least it's finally happening.

Oh, college -- we miss having that much time on our hands. In fact, we also miss Game Boy. No offense, Xbox360. In the great number of Pokemon inspired beer pong tables (yes, there is more than one), this one might take the crown for being the best.

To the uninitiated, Pokemon may seem awfully cute and cuddly. But true fans know there are weird, silly and sometimes downright horrifying creatures lurking in the Pokedex. Given that there's currently more than 600 characters in the pocket monster franchise, there are bound to be a few misfits, right?

Now that Herman Cain has suspended his bid for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, he seems ready to admit that he borrowed liberally from 'Pokemon: The Movie 2000' during a speech (no joke). That has to be the strangest political confession of all time.

At the recent New York Comic Con, brave 'Pokemon' fan Marq Romero dressed up as fan favorite character Ash Ketchum and said "I choose you" to his girlfriend. The proposal began with a flashmob of costumed convention attendees and culminated in Romero on his knees opening a Poke-ball with a ring inside. Did she accept? Check out the video to find out.
