When we get older, Halloween becomes less about accumulating candy and more about letting off some steam and having a good time. However, the mixture of alcohol and costumes are too much for some adult Halloween revelers to handle and their celebrations run them afoul of the law.

It's very difficult to get a good looking mugshot, which explains why there are so many funny ones out there on the World Wide Web. (Uh, not that we'd know from experience.) The lighting is bad, the cameraman just refuses to snap a pic of your good side. And chances are, the situation that led you to the police station was most likely not easy on the hair.

Back in the olden days, mugshots were a much more dignified thing. Mostly because everything looks more dignified in sepia (fact). The team behind the Tumblr Mugshot Doppleganger decided to take some notoriously trashy celebrity mugshots and spice them up with that 1920's glamour that makes it seem like there's no way you just crashed into a cop car.
