3. ‘Speed Zone’ (1989) — Sequels You Probably Didn’t Know About

The first two 'Cannonball Run' films movies featured big names like Burt Reynolds, Frank Sinatra, Jackie Chan, Tony Danza, Terry Bradshaw and Peter Fonda. By the third film, the only returning actor was Jamie Farr (reprising his role of “The Sheik”) joined by comedic talents like The Smothers Brothers and the guy who played Max Headroom. The movie was re-titled after Burt Reynolds turned down the project in an attempt to establish himself as a serious actor. (Note: this was the same year Burt starred in 'All Dogs Go to Heaven.')
