Procter & Gamble has found a way to save ad dollars and create viral video gold at the same time by jamming commercials for two products into one. In this hybrid ad, which is set to debut a day after the Super Bowl, spokesman Terry Crews invades a Charmin commercial to loudly tout the benefits of Old Spice.

The ad begins serenely enough by hawking Charmin Freshmates flushable wipes. But suddenly, Crews bursts onto the scene (literally) and begins shouting about the powerful nature of Old Spice. What do you think? Is this a funny and effective way to simultaneously promote two brands? Or is it just annoying and over the top?
