As if pet owners weren't beholden enough to their cats already, one kitty appears to have learned sign language for "eat." What's next? The sign for "clean my litter"?

As a man eats, a kitty next to him appears to make a gesture that could mean "eat" or "food" in sign language. Oh, terrific. Cats are one step closer to making us their full-time puppets.

Still, you could argue that the cat isn't consciously signing, that it's simply trying to swipe food from it's owners hands. But, either way, the cat's intent is clear. It wants this man to give up his snack.

What do you think? Is the kitty really using sign language? Or does it just have a case of grabby hands?
