Women Arrested For Pelting Husband With Cupcakes

A Chicago woman who resorted to "assault with a delicious weapon" during an argument with her husband was arrested Saturday and charged with domestic battery. 

Arturo Montesdeoca called the cops Saturday night and reported that his wife Dawn was assaulting him. According to the police report, when the officers arrived they found Arturo covered with tell-tale icing and got Dawn to confess that she had been hurling desserts at her husband.

Dawn was released from prison Sunday morning after posting a $10,000 bond, but is being forced to submit to electronic monitoring. We can only imagine this precaution is to keep this pastry menace away from bakeries or anywhere else dangerous cupcakes are sold.
