A down-and-out New Mexico woman has put her "slightly used" soul up for auction on eBay. The starting price is only $2,000, which, if you think about it, is a great price for an immortal soul. Any takers?

A one-time freelance writer who can no longer work, Lori N. was a passenger in a car hit by a drunk driver five years ago and sustained multiple injuries, including broken bones and a collapsed lung. To make matters worse, she was in a coma for three weeks, had a stroke and even lost a breast due to the accident.

Lori says she's now "near the end of her rope" after suffering such severe trauma and wants to give her soul a chance to be saved by selling it. It's her hope that someone will purchase her spiritual essence, then save it through prayer or conversion.

Incredibly, no bids have been placed yet. Guess the downturn in the economy has affected everyone, even notorious soul collectors like Satan.
