According to court documents, a 42-year-old Dutch woman called a man she described as an ex-boyfriend 65,000 times in the past year.

The man denies they ever had a relationship, and had her arrested for stalking -- which was how police got hold of her phone records and uncovered her prodigious dialing rate.

65,000 calls a year comes to 178 calls a day, or seven calls an hour, so one hopes she had some kind of unlimited minutes plan. The woman actually argued in court that the number of calls she made wasn't excessive. Not surprisingly the judge disagreed, and forbid her from making any further contact with the fellow in question.
