Whatever Happened to Charlie Korsmo From ‘Hook’?

Charlie Korsmo then and now
Touchstone Pictures, Brooklyn Law School

Then: As a wide-eyed child star, Korsmo appeared in ‘What About Bob,’ ”Dick Tracy’ and ‘Hook.’ He then took a seven-year break from acting before closing out his Hollywood career with a memorable role as a geek who gets comically drunk at a high school graduation party in ‘Can’t Hardly Wait.’

Now: Korsmo earned a degree in physics from MIT undergrad and a JD from Yale Law School. The 33-year old is currently a law professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Earlier this year, Korsmo was nominated for the Board of Trustees of the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation by President Barack Obama. How’s that for a second act?
