What Does Punxsutawney Phil’s Groundhog Day Prediction Say?

Do we need to keep bundling up or is spring in the air?

Famed groundhog Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on Monday morning, in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, meaning there will be six more weeks of winter (there are nine years with no prediction).

And here’s a fun fact: the groundhog made the first of his famous predictions way back in 1887. Since then, he’s seen his shadow 102 times and has failed to see it 17 times. He claims he’s right 100% of the time, but the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration puts it around 80%.
