Ultimate Frisbee Bridges Cultural Gap Between America and North Korea [VIDEO]

Americans Teaching Ultimate Frisbee in North Korea

While Ultimate Frisbee may not be the most widely played sport in America, it is one of the friendliest and most inclusive. That’s why it seems like a great way to bridge cultural gaps between the U.S. and North Korea, as the athletes in this video do.

It does our hearts good to see positive relations between the American and North Korean people achieved through some good, old-fashioned Ultimate. This group of North Koreans look like they’ve taken to the game fairly quickly and enthusiastically. We’re sure it won’t be long before Frisbees printed with the Great Leader’s face on them start popping up all over the nation.

Check out the inspiring video of Americans bringing Ultimate Frisbee to North Korea, which also serves as a great tutorial for anyone new to the sport.
