For someone who's been described as the nicest guy in Hollywood, Tom Hanks sure has a dirty mouth. On 'Good Morning America' today, the actor inadvertently dropped the "F-bomb" on live TV, shocking host Elizabeth Vargas and embarrassing himself in the process. Oopsy! (Warning: NSFW)

But, hey, it's not like he didn't warn the anchor that it would happen. See, Vargas prompted Hanks to speak like a British character he plays in the upcoming movie 'Cloud Atlas.' Hanks was all too happy to oblige, but told her that this particular character has a serious case of potty mouth.

And that's when it happened. As soon as Hanks uttered the expletive, he clamped a hand over his mouth and apologized profusely.

"I'm sorry," he said. "I slipped into a brand of acting. I have never done that before. I would apologize to the kids of America that are watching this right now. And let me say, next time on the show there will be a seven-second delay."

If it was Hanks' objective to finally get us excited about 'Cloud Atlas,' he definitely succeeded.
