Were ‘Til Death from ‘Family Guy’ and Staredog Separated at Birth?

'Til Death from 'Family Guy' vs. Staredog
Totally Looks Like

Hardcore ‘Family Guy’ fans will no doubt remember ‘Til Death, the googly-eyed horse that Peter impulsively bought at a Kentucky auction. Named after the failed Fox sitcom starring Brad Garrett and Joely Fisher, ‘Til Death turned in an atrocious performance at the Quahog Derby, trampled deaf children and an infant, and eventually died of a heart attack.

Staredog, meanwhile, was a meme involving the image of a rigid (and possibly taxidermied) dog. The meme started on the image-based bulletin board 4Chan back in 2007 and essentially called for Staredog’s image to be used at random times in posts.

Given the evidence above, it’s hard to dispute that the two blank-eyed creatures look very similar. What do you think? Could ‘Til Death and Staredog be related?
