Scrappy Lion and Tiger Cubs Play Together in the Grass

In a few years they'll be hungry predators ferociously protecting their respective territories. For now though, these lion and tiger cubs have the perfect inter-species friendship.

These two particular animals would never meet in the wild: lions are native to the African grasslands, and tigers are an Asian species. Even so, the two cubs seem to have a special bond, and for humans it's an instantly heartwarming sight.Everyone wins!

Let's hope this video was shot on a wildlife preserve, and not in someone's backyard as speculated in one of the comments. In a few short months, even just one of these "babies" will be a real handful, capable of playing pretty darn rough. And once they reach adulthood, we're looking at jaws that exert 1,000 pounds of pressure per square inch.
