Continuing his meteoric rise to movie super-stardom, Ryan Gosling gets caught in quite the political scandal in George Clooney's latest directorial effort, 'The Ides of March.'

Based on the Broadway play 'Farragut North,' 'March' tells the story of an up-and-coming press secretary (Gosling) whose loyalty to his boss (Clooney) is called into question when an opposing team tries to recruit him to the other side.

From there, his professional and personal worlds are thrown into a loop as he's exposed to backdoor politics and, for better or worse, has a fling with a young intern (Evan Rachel Wood).

Will this be Gosling and Clooney's next ticket to the Oscars? Check out the trailer below and judge for yourself.
