We have to admit, the results of this contest aren't too surprising. Sincerely, it's hard to imagine anything cuter than a baby tiger playing on a couch, which is why this video of a baby tiger jumping on the couch is taking home the prize for the Best Animal Video of 2012.

One of Michael Jackson's many idiosyncrasies was his love for exotic animals. And since the late music legend was sort of the rich madman type, he kept a menagerie of giraffes, flamingos, orangutans, elephants and tigers on his notorious Neverland Ranch.

Sadly, one of the tigers -- who Jackson had named 'Thriller' after his seminal 1982 album -- has passed away.

Dodo, a two-year old male chimp who resides in a animal park in Thailand, has been trained to bottle feed the zoo's tiger cubs.

He's been doing this inter-species act of parenting for about a year now, although his trainer concedes that the young chimp sometimes ignores his feeding tasks and just wants to play with the cubs.
