It seems like there are a lot of people running for President Obama's job. Now we can add one more: America's Sweetheart, Betty White.

On last night's 'Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,' White announced her run for President of the United States.

It looks like Geoff Pedersen, Craig Ferguson's skeletal, robotic sidekick, has recently gotten an upgrade. In the past, Geoff worked only sporadically and even had difficulty repeating pre-recorded phrases. But now, the late-night robot has become a wisecracking automaton who drops jokes on the fly.

On Wednesday night's episode of 'The Late Late Show,' Geoff did a spot-on impression of guest Regis Philbin that the daytime host didn't find amusing. "I thought he was having like an epileptic fit over here," Philbin said. "I don't talk like that at all! You've got to get rid of him!"

Mere days after a death threat was made against David Letterman on an Al Qaeda website, an envelope containing white powder was delivered to the L.A. offices of 'The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson.'

The powder was suspected to be anthrax, but police later deemed it harmless. Two show staffers were exposed to the substance, but were released after a brief period of observation.
