A Georgia man was aware that his pickup truck had no functional brakes when he took it for a drive Wednesday afternoon. But the 24-year-old was under the mistaken -- and likely Saturday morning cartoon-influenced -- impression he could just stop the vehicle by sticking his foot out the door and dragging it across the pavement, Fred Flinstone-style.
A Department of Sanitation truck somehow managed to smash halfway through the wall of a third story parking garage in Queens, New York Wednesday morning, leaving both the vehicle and the driver dangling perilously in the air.
While a typical car stereo produces about 100 watts of sound this sound system can belt out up to 40,000.
As you can see from the video below, that type of wattage makes for a hair-raising experience when the bass gets heavy. Our sympathies to anyone who hitches a ride with a fellow who's installed this supercharged monster in his car.

Apparently, the Lithuanian city of Vilnuis has a problem with cars -- in particular luxury cars -- parking in its bike lines.
Citizens have taken to posting pictures of these illegally parked cars on social media. In response to the public outcry, Vilnuis mayor Arturas Zuokas staged an event in which he used an armored personnel carrier to crush a Mercedes Benz which had been parked in a bike lane .
Basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal was recently outed as a go-kart lover by TMZ and the pictures of his joyride in the itty-bitty car were a sight to behold. But trying to squeeze his 7' 1" frame into a toy Jeep proved nearly impossible on 'Conan' last night.
"I like to feel small. So, I like to ride things that I can't fit in," said O'Neal, explaining his love of tiny vehicles. "People say, 'He can't get into that.' I'll be, like, 'Watch this.'"

On July 29, an undercover Florida cop mistook Bieber for a child and pulled him over during a traffic stop. Bieber was behind the wheel of a brand-new Rolls Royce convertible with singer Sean Kingston in the passenger seat.
