The 2012 presidential race once again set the internet on fire. There were gifs, fake twitter accounts, an AMAZING hairswap and all the other stuff that comes from people who live their lives online briefly taking an interest in politics. It helps that Joe Biden is a very expressive man. Here are some of our favorite bits from around the web.

Got your heart broken so brutally that you're considering switching teams? That most likely didn't happen, but just in case we've got that for you anyway. It's been a good week.

Mitt Romney was on the campaign trail at a Chipotle in Denver, Colorado when this photo was taken. The man in the picture swears this is just his excited face. Unfortunately, his expression, coupled with his striking similarity to a young Will Smith, made this photo a guaranteed internet sensation. It made it's way into Reddit's Photoshop Battles, and these are just a few of the hilarious results.

It was on this day 62 years ago that the first 'Peanuts' comic strip was published. Instead of humiliating Charlie Brown for his birthday, we thought we'd share some funny/cute/sadorable animated GIFs. Warning: like 'Peanuts,' they can be a little dark, because snow can be awfully depressing.

We start off this week's assortment of GIFs with an adorable cartoon of what happens when Dad has to watch the kids while Mom is gone. Does this animation remind you of your family at all?

We're suckers for sour faces. Warheads, lemons-- you name it! Although we're fans of any kind of pungent-induced expression, there's something about the way kids react to super sour foods that's just so cute, charming and hysterical.

Rebel Wilson first made us belly laugh, get super grossed out, then laugh even harder when she played Kristen Wiig's "TMI" roommate in ‘Bridesmaids.' You know, the one who got a street-side tattoo of a Mexican drinking worm across her back? That was nasty. And hilarious. Luckily for us, Wilson's hysterical antics are back in the upcoming musical comedy, ‘Pitch Perfect.'

Honey Boo Boo, put down that clump of grass! On this week's special one-hour season finale of 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,' the family poses for a portrait, Chickadee goes into labor, Alana participates in the Miss Sparkle and Shine pageant and everyone kills a swarm of hungry gnats!
