Adorable Swimming Koala Invades a Touring Canoe

Koalas have this whole adorable thing down pat. Maybe it’s the way they always hug people. But other than One Direction's koala chlamydia scare, these cute animals from Down Under can make almost anything seem sweet, even when they're soaking wet from swimming across a creek.

One Kanu koala proved just that. He was hanging out on shore one day when he saw some canoers filming him while floating in the middle of a creek. We’re guessing the animal realized he wanted to join in on some human fun and went for a full-on doggie paddle (or koala paddle) towards the boat. The filmers eventually scooped him up and welcomed him on board. Aww, the little guy just wanted to make some friends!
