Brave Russian Ladies Run In Stiletto Heel Street Race

Growing up, we were told you should never run in heels. Apparently these ladies in Russia didn't get that memo.  

In the clip above, watch as women run a street race in "regulation" (3.5 inch) heels for a sizable cash prize from Glamour Magazine.

No word on whether the short shorts were mandatory, or if the ladies decided they were the most aerodynamic clothing option. We'd also like to point out, just as your mother told you, that running in heels is dangerous! Many of the contestants in the race wiped out, spilling in grand fashion before crossing the finish line. We'll just stick to espadrilles in case we need to make a quick getaway.
