Returning Soldier Gives Wife a Heartwarming Surprise at Chick-fil-A

Some of the most heartwarming videos on the internet are of soldiers returning home from war surprising their family members in a creative way. The military wife in this clip got more than she bargained for when her husband delivered her meal to the table at a Chick-fil-a restaurant.

While waiting for her order to come up, the soldier's wife took a seat in a booth. Before she had a chance to get settled, her food arrived in the hands of her husband, who she believed was still fighting overseas. If his intention was to catch his wife off guard, it is safe to say that he accomplished his mission.

This isn't the first fast-food homecoming that we've seen on the internet, but it is one of the sweetest. Anyone with a loved one who has gone to war will agree that it can wreak havoc on your emotions. While many families try to keep their spirits up for sake of their sanity,  you can see from this military wife's immediate reaction to seeing her husband that war definitely takes a toll on everyone. Not every soldier's war story comes completes with a happy ending, but we're sure glad this one did.
