Although there a thousands of species of snakes, only a few hundred of them are poisonous. But considering we humans are scared of them anyway, here's a video that won't change our minds about snakes anytime soon.

If you wondered how poisonous snake venom kills humans, this interesting clip will demonstrate what venom does to blood. Don't worry, it's safe for work.

In the clip, a snake handler in India extracts venom from a Russell's viper. Just the sheer fangs on the snake look scary, but after a few drops of venom are extracted, the show host then mixes just a single drop in a glass of human blood. And in a matter of seconds, the blood coagulates and turns into a jelly-like matter.

Now imagine what more than a few drops could do to the human body. We'd rather not.
