‘She Blinded Me With Science Fiction’ – Cheesy Romance Novel Covers

This cover is far from out-of-this-world despite the title of Surbeck’s novel. It’s like they forgot about the whole "science fiction" part of the plot, then remembered and just threw in a planet because obviously that equals science.

We all know the story: girl rejects guy, he gets hot, they meet again and the romance escalates from there. The ever-so-slight twist in this story is that the couple sees each other again at a 'Star Trek' convention which is where their chemistry begins. Oh, and if the cover’s anything to go by, maybe he’s literally blinded because he’s hiding his face in her hair…
