The morning show wars are really starting to heat up. On the heels of former 'Today' host Katie Couric returning to AM television as guest co-host of ABC's  'Good Morning America', NBC's 'Today' just announced their own high profile guest co-host.

Sarah Palin will be sharing the couch with Matt Lauer and company on Tuesday. The former governor of Alaska and GOP vice-presidential candidate called into the show Monday to discuss what she should expect.

"What are you doing to prepare? Are you reading some newspapers?," Lauer asked Palin, making a reference to a famous question Couric, of all people, asked Palin in an interview during the 2008 election.

Palin laughed the jab off, and had some barbs of her own. When Lauer asked what a tweet she sent out which read "We’re 'going rogue' and infiltrating some turf for a day" meant, she quickly turned the question around. "What do you think it means?," she responded, playfully.

So what do you think? Is a Palin vs. the "lamestream media" showdown must-see-TV?
