Ron Swanson Is Now a Blonde Cyborg

Mo Ryan, Twitter

While most of us internet geeks focused on the live stream of the 16th annual Webby Awards, the oldest electronic media prizes were handed out at the 71st annual Peabody Awards. A number of A-list stars showed face, but thanks to this tweet by HuffPo TV critic Mo Ryan, it was Nick Offerman aka Ron Swanson, who stole the show.

Celebrities attending included Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen of ‘Portlandia,’ Amy Poehler, Adam Scott, Anderson Cooper, Alec Baldwin, Aubrey Plaza, Aziz Ansari, Channing Tatum, Heidi Klum, January Jones, Jason Sudeikis, Madonna, Martin Scorsese, Sofia Vergara, Spike Lee, Stephen Colbert, Timothy Olyphant and Tina Fey. Everyone looked great, but it was Offerman, not a nip slip or exposed pelvis, that drew the most attention.

In a move that shocked ‘Parks & Recreation’ fans, the grizzly Cubs fan sported blonde hair and beard, which some claimed had some red tinges to it. Ron’s a man’s man who thinks clear alcohols are for rich women on diets, so you’d think bleaching or dying an hombre’s hair would be numero uno on the “DO NOT” list. Could Ron be softening? Get a closer look at blonde Ron Swanson below.
